RIP Shopit - My farewell to a great, undiscovered ecommerce platform
I still remember that day in 2009, where I was sat in my tiny two desk office in the Bolton Enterprise Centre, realising I had to build an ecommerce platform from scratch. It was raining outside and a client I'd known for a long time was starting a new online business and required a feature that no off-the-shelf shopping cart supported. And, I had a month to build it.
